Vins NB Wines
Vins NB Wines, previously known as the New Brunswick Grape Growers Association, has been active for the past 14 years. Initially, it served as a way for the wine and grape pioneers of our province to meet and share their experiences, and as a means of collaborating on the province’s first wine industry policies.
Today, Vins NB Wines’s membership consists of 17 cottage wineries and grape producers, each one producing grape or fruit wines or simply growing grapes. We are working hard towards a vision of a healthy and successful wine industry in New Brunswick.
Vins NB Wines, through funding from the Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (CAAP), recently completed a detailed study of the wine industry in N.B. This study will allow us to build a cohesive organization, which will propel the industry forward in the years to come.
The N.B. cottage wine industry currently produces 80 tonnes of grapes with an approximate economic impact of 7.75 million, and is growing every year.
Be sure to take in the beautiful landscapes that surround our wineries as you enjoy a taste of NB wines. Ours is a new wine frontier!
