The citizens of Rexton and Richibucto are no strangers to Alan Hudson and his family. A local boy all his life, Alan had lived on their farm for 20 years before opening Richibucto River Wine Estate in 2005. The first vineyard of its size to be planted in New Brunswick, it’s also the furthest north.
Situated on 20 gorgeous acres overlooking the river, the Hudsons’ pride and joy is open for guided tours every day of the summer at 3 PM. Spy a majestic bald eagle from the tasting room. Take in one of their breathtaking sunsets. And enjoy one of their award-winning wines, made with 100% of their own grapes, from the refreshing summer Camrose to the full-bodied Marechal Foch and classic Maritime Acadie Blanc.
